I absolutely love these. I tend to share mine with my two little people at breakfast time to I make a big bowl the night before.
You can can make as much or as little as you want to be fair.
If you’re on slimming world then you will need to check how many grams of oats is now in your healthy extra b option (I won’t state it as it can change at any time)
If you’re not following sw then fill your boots with the mixtures until you find the right consistency you love.
Ingredient, (my own)
* 1 or 2 pots of Aldi’s light yogurt
(I prefer to use the vanilla or choc orange flavours with my oats as they taste amazing.)
* 5 to 6 dessert spoons of oats (Cheap oats)
Fresh fruit /frozen fruit of your choice.
In a large breakfast bowl I pour in 2 yogurts, I add the oats and mix well, sometimes I add a little more or a little less of the oats depending on the consistency. I try and make it the same amount of oat to the same amount of yogurt (I hate measuring easy recipes)
Stir well making sure it’s not too thick or your oats will turn to stodge that you could wallpaper your house with by the morning.
I then add fresh blueberries, sometimes I add strawberries and raspberries too. (I find banana goes dark and taste too sweet so I add this in the morning if I fancy it)
You can add whatever Fruit you want to and even some people add frozen fruit but I find this makes the mixture too watery for my liking by the morning.
When fruit has been added, give it a through but gently stir and then cover and leave in the fridge until the morning.
Your oats soften up with the beautiful yogurt and all the fruit mixes in lovely so you have the most gorgeous dish to wake up to in the morning.
A lot of people hate the idea of cold oats, honestly though it’s worth trying these before you turn your nose up at it 🙃😋
Don’t forget oats are a slow release breakfast that will leave you feeling fuller for longer.
